Daycare and Boarding Requirements

We require all of our pack members to be up to date on the following vaccines.

Rabies (we cannot legally accept titers)
Distemper (DHPP) (Annual Titers Accepted)

  • Kennel Cough (Bordetella) *Annually*

  • A clean (negative) Fecal Float (within one month prior to first day)
*Influenza is not required at this time but is highly recommended.*

  • Monthly Flea & Tick Preventative Required Seasonally (recommended year round while attending daycare)

  • Monthly Heartworm Preventative Required Seasonally (recommended year round while attending daycare)

*We do not accept vaccines that are bought through an outside source and administered at home (I.e. Tractor Supply, Etc.).*

  • We require all of our pack members to be on monthly preventative Flea and Tick medication. We do not have a specific brand or type requirement but we highly suggest no collars as they get taken off at drop off. We also suggest keeping them on flea and tick year-round due to the mild weather we have had.
It is always best to purchase these medications through your vet office.

  • We require all of our pack members to be on monthly preventative heartworm medication. We do not have a specific brand requirement however there are some brands that have an anti parasitic or "dewormer" in them and for this reason we suggest they be given year-round. *It is always best to purchase these medications through your vet office.

  • We require all of our new pack members to provide clean fecal results done by their vet within a month of starting. We require all of our existing pack members to provide clean fecal results done by their vet annually. We ask all of our clients and their vets to work with us on this and understand why this is a requirement. We understand it is impossible to completely protect a large pack of dogs from sharing parasites, especially when pack members are also attending other daycares or going to dog parks. It is our goal to do our part in reducing the risks of spread and transmittal. We also understand that some parasites do not cause symptoms for some dogs and therefore are not typically treated. We ask that all parasites present are treated and a clean fecal is provided after treatment. We have pack members who are young, immunocompromised, and elderly. While their owners have accepted the risks associated with daycare, we still take responsibility in providing the best environment we can for them. A Fecal Float will suffice for this required testing.

  • They must be spayed or neutered if 6 months of age or older.

  • Dogs must be able to pass a behavioral evaluation as well as a day visit (free of charge).

  • A ONE day a week minimum is required to maintain current client status. A minimum ensures that your dog stays socialized and comfortable in our environment and with the other dogs at the facility.

  • We do not allow daycare or boarding drop offs after 10 AM.

  • Most importantly your dog must not have a history of showing any kind of aggression towards other dogs.

  • To enroll we require a copy of your dogs most recent vaccine list to ensure your pet is up to date and a scheduled evaluation day. Please call or email us to schedule today!
